Jericho Rosales took to social media to share a heartwarming message he received from his son, Santino Rosales, about his upcoming film Quezon.
On his Instagram page, the actor posted a screenshot of the message of Santino, who expressed excitement and support for the movie. The message read: "Morning dad! Am so near you today. Coaching kids for football hehe. I met a fan of yours yesterday. He’s so hyped for Quezon. It’s a good signnnn 🫶. Many people are excited about it! Miss you dad."
Reflecting on the sentimental note, Jericho shared in the caption: "This one's for my boy. When he was a kid he would pull my hand and drag me to point at posters of films he wanted to watch together."
He added, "October 15, 2025 will be a very special day," referring to the premiere of Quezon.
Santino is Jericho's son with Kai Palomares.
It was in February when it was announced that Jericho will be headlining Quezon.
"I feel so honored to be with this team. Coming to a script like this which is so potent and so entertaining, I feel so lucky and happy," the actor remarked.
He went on: "Here, you will see Quezon as a person. He's not written as a hero. He is cunning, he is charming, he is intelligent. Quezon is such an interesting character to play; there are so many things I can put into the role to build Quezon as a character. That adds to the pressure, but at the same time I am very excited."
Other cast members of the movie include Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, Benjamin Alves as a younger Manuel Quezon, Karylle as Manuel's wife Aurora, Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, JC Santos as Manuel Roxas, and Cris Villanueva as the older version of the fictional character in the movie, Joven Hernando.
The film is directed by Jerrold Tarog.
Quezon concluded its filming in June.
