Singer-songwriter Zia Quizon took to social media to share throwback photos of her mother, Kapamilya singer Zsa Zsa Padilla, and her late father, comedy icon Dolphy, as she greeted Zsa Zsa on her 61st birthday.

On Instagram, Zia posted a series of nostalgic family photos, including images from Zsa Zsa’s recent birthday celebration.

“Happy Birthday, Mama 🌸,” Zia simply wrote in a caption.


 

Zsa Zsa replied in the comments, “Awww. Thank you! Love you ZZ,” to which Zia responded, “@zsazsapadilla Love you, Mama 🌸 Have the best day πŸ’–.”

Zsa Zsa marked her 61st birthday on Wednesday, May 28, with an intimate celebration alongside family and close friends at a restaurant in Makati.

In a post shared by Zsa Zsa’s eldest daughter, It’s Showtime host Karylle Tatlonghari, celebrities such as Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Rowell Santiago, celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, and producer Noel Ferrer were seen attending the special gathering. The occasion also served as a celebration of Zsa Zsa’s 42nd anniversary in showbiz and the release of her latest album.

“Happy birthday, mama @zsazsapadilla. We love you! Celebrating you mama on your sweet 61 party at @sala.dining β™‘ Congratulations on your 42 years in music. Tomorrow, a new episode with mama talking about her recently concluded concert Through The Years Zsa Zsa will be on my @ksdramapodcast β™‘,” Karylle said.



Fellow ASAP host Gary Valenciano also posted a throwback photo with Zsa Zsa, expressing gratitude for their decades-long friendship.

“Happy bday to someone I’m so grateful to have grown up with in the music industry and so blessed to still have as a truly endearing friend to both myself and @angeli.valenciano. We’ve done so many projects together no Zsa? We love you @zsazsapadilla. We will always be around for you. God bless you more my friend. Talent manager Noel Ferrer also shared a heartfelt tribute to Zsa Zsa, honoring her legacy and their lasting friendship.

Your talent, passion, and dedication have left an indelible mark on our industry, and I’m so grateful to have witnessed your journey,” Noel said. “Beyond your professional accomplishments, I’ve always been fascinated by your life. Your unapologetic individuality, your unwavering confidence, and your refusal to conform to societal norms have made you a true icon.”

 “Thank you, Zsa Zsa, for sharing your gift with us. Thank you for being a trailblazer, a trendsetter, and a true original. I’m honored to be able to appreciate your contributions, and I look forward to seeing what’s next for you,” he added.

 


Following her birthday celebration, Zsa Zsa, along with her partner Conrad Onglao and her mother Esperanza Perez Padilla, jetted off to Japan for a birthday getaway.

“Tokyo-Kyoto birthday Adventures with Manga and Conrad! I only had one wish and reveal sa next post😝 what’s your guess?,” she said.

Zsa Zsa and Zia also recently collaborated on the song “Never Be Alone,” a touching track about a mother’s emotional journey as her children grow and forge their own paths. The song is featured in Zsa Zsa’s newly released album Pag Tinadhana.

Last May 17, Zsa Zsa staged her 42nd anniversary concert, where she opened up about rediscovering her passion for live performance after a health setback. She also spoke about the role her loved ones played in pursuing her love for music during a recent podcast appearance with Karylle.
