Former Miss Universe Philippines contestant and content creator Ayn Bernos shared that the car they were riding got rear-ended on NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) earlier this month. On her Threads account, the TikTok star showed the damage to their car, including the bicycles stored in a rack at the back.
From the photos that she shared, the rear window of their car was completely smashed, while the bike rack that was holding the bicycles was also bent. Ayn is hopeful that there is a way to detach the bike rack before they can do any repairs to their car.

“Hi everyone. Posting because we are really unsure of our next steps, so if anyone has any recos, please let us know. 🥹😭 We got rear-ended this weekend at NLEX and they ended up smashing our bike rack straight into our car,” she wrote.
“Bike rack is completely bent out of shape and we are hoping to safely detach the bike rack before any other repairs are done,” she added.
The former beauty queen revealed that it wasn’t only the rear windshield that was affected by the car accident, but the taillights as well. She expressed concern that repair shops have been telling them they need to solve the bike rack first before they can do anything.

“So far we know that the rear windshield and headlights are wrecked, but we've been told that regular repair shops can't do anything until we solve the bike rack situation,” she maintained.
Ayn shared that they were fortunately unharmed in the unfortunate incident that broke the bike rack and rear windshield.
“We're very grateful to be safe and unharmed 🙏🏽 But still so heartbroken over the state of our car and bike, so again if you have any leads for shops that can help us, please let us know,” she ended.
Netizens shared their opinions on what Ayn could do about the situation at hand. Others asserted that the former beauty queen should make sure that insurance would get involved.
