In the Instagram Reel she uploaded, the Kapamilya star can be seen bonding with her late mother as they walked the streets of Japan. The two were enjoying the beautiful scenery and had matching outfits while singing Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and Gladys Knight's “That's What Friends Are For“ in the eight-minute video.
She expressed how much she’ll be missing her mother who has taught her about selfless love for the family.

Hanggang sa muli nating pagkikita mahal kong Inay,” she added.
Maymay then told her followers on social media to enjoy the time they have with their loved ones before it’s too late.
Friends and fans of the Kapamilya star expressed their condolences in the comment section of her post.
