MANILA -- Actor Cedrick Juan and Kate Alejandrino are now engaged.
Juan shared the sweet milestone via a social media post on Wednesday, with photos of him and Alejandrino, who showed off her engagement ring.
"Isang pangarap…Pangarap na nagsimula sa pagpapanumbalik ng iyong tunay na ngiti na naguugat sa kaluluwa, isip, puso at mga mata. Ito ang layunin ko simula noong unang araw na tayo’y nagsimula. Trabaho ko ang mahalin, pagsilbihan, makinig at pasayahin ka dahil nararapat ito para sayo. Ang maging sigurado at tiyak sa bawat hakbang araw-araw na magkasama," Juan wrote on his Instagram post.
"Tara mangarap tayo bawat sandali simula sa araw na ito. Mahal, Mahal na mahal kita at pipiliin ka araw-araw Kaitin," Juan added.
Early this year, Juan also turned to social media to share his appreciation for Alejandrino.
Juan, a theater and screen actor, gained popularity after he won the Best Actor trophy at the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival for his portrayal of Padre Jose Burgos in the historical film “GomBurZa.”
Alejandrino, who is also a screen and theater actress, is one of the stars of "Lavender Fields". She is also set to star in the upcoming stage play "Anino Sa Likod ng Buwan."
