Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza expressed that she is “single and very happy” as she goes back to her fitness era. In a brief interview with showbiz columnist Gorgy Rula during the premiere night of Gabi ng Lagim, she remained mum about what happened between her and Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake after having relationship rumors.
Barbie and Jameson had previously worked in the same Netflix film, Kontrabida Academy, earlier this year.

The Kapuso star revealed in the interview that apart from her running era, she has also tried a new sport–– swimming.
“Actually bumalik na po ako. I am slowly going back to my running era–– medyo mabagal ako ulit, medyo humina akong tumakbo. Pero ngayon, medyo nakakarecover naman na ng kaunti sinisipagan ko na ulit tumakbo,” she shared.
“Ngayon, nag try ako magswimming so nagswim training na rin ako and then I’m going back to pilates also,” she added.
When asked about her relationship status, Barbie was all smiles as she maintained that she is single and very happy.
“I am single and very happy–– always happy,” she assured.
She then kept quiet about what really happened between her and Jameson as she told the interviewer how they shouldn’t talk about it anymore. She asserted once more that she isn’t in any romantic relationship.
“Grabe naman, nako wag na natin pagusapan. Basta I am single and very happy,” she asserted.
When she was asked about the friendship they had built, Barbie also remained mum and instead promoted the film that they were watching.
It was earlier this year when the rumors of Barbie and Jameson’s romantic relationship first surfaced on social media. The two were spotted together at the GMA Gala which made netizens wonder even more about the real status of their relationship.
In a previous exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Jameson shared that they got close “really fast” due to the undisclosed project that they’ve been working on together.
“She's very engaging when you have conversations with her. Hindi siya boring kausap… Our time together, you know, there's a sense to it, you know, when we have talks,” he previously shared.
