With a showbiz career that spurned headlines not just from her blockbuster films and interviews but also for her very colorful love life journey, Kris Aquino must have a treasure trove of even more juicier stories that never even made it to print. Such is apparent in her latest social media post on November 17, Monday, where she revealed that she briefly dated actor and comedian Anjo Yllana during their early 90s.

In her post, Kris wrote about how they celebrated their first month of dating and the encounter with a supposed “third party” that was the start of the end of their connection.
“Anjo Yllana You filled my room with pink balloons for our first monthsary (hindi ako proud but he said at he started we didn’t last 3 weeks because pinagsabay ko sila ni Robin. Wala syang kasabay. Anjo, ano ba, we were outside my mom’s house hinatid mo ko- may naghihintay. It was a big surprise for me & you. You left with these parting lines: mukhang nakakagulo ako, fyi girlfriend ko sya, kahit feeling ko pag gising ko wala na. The Surprise: Girlfriend mo harapan mong binabastus. You don’t trust her? Dumalaw ako dahil isang buwan akong abroad, dala ko yung pasalubong ko… Diba mauuna ka na? I stood unmoving, staring at the floor.) disclaimer i was 21, Anjo was 23-24, Mr. Surprise was 23.”

During this point in Kris’s life in the early 90s, she had already been linked to some of her former leading men during that time like Aga Muhlach, Gabby Concepcion, and Robin Padilla, with the latter admitting in an ABS-CBN interview in 2010 that it was his fault the relationship did not work.
Earlier this year, Anjo first revealed in a vlog interview with Snooky Serna that he and Kris had started dating after working on some movies together. The first worked together in the 1992 film Ang Siga at Ang Sosyal where Kris was first paired with Richard Gomez. This was followed by them finally sharing the starring role in the comedy film Pempe ni Sarah at Pen alongside then child actor Vandolph which was released in in 1995.
