Actress and social media influencer Bea Borres revealed that she skipped her supposed date for her baby shower due to her high-risk pregnancy. In a Facebook post, the content creator and soon to be mom shared that she has been admitted in the hospital for close monitoring.
Bea has opened up about her high-risk pregnancy earlier this month, to the shock of her fans. She has turned down several brand deals as well to prioritize the well-being of her first child.
“Today was supposed to be my baby shower, payments settled, invites sent to family and friends weeks in advance, but here I am still in the hospital for close monitoring,” she shared.
Despite the serious situation she’s in, she expressed that she is still looking at the bright side and praying that it will all be well for her and the baby.
“It’s also almost the end of my semester, and I honestly don’t know how this will go. I’m just really hoping and praying for the best. Please pray for my baby,” she expressed.
Family and friends of Bea gathered in her hospital room to visit her and lighten up the mood, which she was thankful for. Netizens spotted that her best friend, Andrea Brillantes, wasn’t in the picture, but Bea assured that she will be visiting soon.
“[Thank you] to my family and friends who made time to visit me during times like this. It means so much to be reminded that I’m not alone,” she said.
“Wait lang po kay daddy Blythe, of course she’s gonna visit me hehe,” she assured.

Fans of Bea sent their warm and kind hearted messages in the comment section of her post. Other netizens assured that they will be praying for a healthy pregnancy journey for her.
