Apart from ‘lumpia queen’ Abi Marquez and Kat Bautista (wife of singer Christian Bautista), who recently made history as the first ever recipients of the new Gold Stevie Award for Most Innovative Content Creator under the Social Media category and Silver Stevie Award for Best Female Entrepreneur respectively, ABS-CBN did the country proud once again at the International Business Awards held in Lisbon, Portugal earlier this month.

Developed for members of the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE), the program won in the Conference & Meeting category for bridging the gap between academic learning and current industry practices.
About 100 teachers from all over the country learned directly from ABS-CBN’s news, entertainment, and digital media experts, including Robert Labayen, Kriz Gazmen, Francis Toral, Rondel Lindayag, Henry Quitain, Marizel Samson-Martinez, Carmi Raymundo, Mico del Rosario, Arlene Burgos, Jeff Canoy, Melvin Fetalvero, Jasmin Pallera, Darla Sauler, Alex Balite, Sierra Borlongan, Charina Fernandez, Diorella Agoncillo, and Yvette Tan. An offshoot of the long-running ABS-CBN Pinoy Media Congress, the initiative also received a Philippine Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines last August.
