MANILA — Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez has welcomed her first baby, Eliana Mae Gallardo.
“From one dream season to the next. This time, the most precious one yet,” Sanchez said in a Facebook post.
“We are grateful beyond words for our baby girl, for the gift of motherhood, and for the love that grows deeper every day,” she added.
Sanchez, who was married to her husband Rickie Gallardo, was pregnant when she competed and won the 20th season of "America’s Got Talent."

She first rose to prominence in 2012 when she finished as a runner-up on "American Idol."
She, then, released her debut album "Me, You & the Music."
The singer also previously appeared in the American musical television series "Glee."
