Ahead of her 35th birthday on December 13, global pop star Taylor Swift visited patients at the Children’s Mercy Hospital.
According to a report by KCTV 5, the singer visited children on the hematology and oncology floor of the hospital and dedicated over an hour to meeting with children and fans.
Witnesses shared that she not only interacted with the patients but also sang to them.
Photos of Taylor visiting the hospital have been circulating on social media, showing her interacting with the patients and gifting them with signed Eras Tour books.

One of the patient's moms, Melissa Nuzum, also took to social media to express her awe and gratitude to Taylor for visiting her daughter.
"This morning, day #6 of Baylee in the hospital we had the coolest, most unexpected surprise ever.. (with like 2 minutes warning) TAYLOR SWIFT came to visit impatient children today and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures!" she wrote on her Facebook page.
"Ya'll she is amazing! On top of her sheer beauty she was just as kind and personable and down to earth. She gave Baylee a signed copy of her Eras Tour book and accepted a gift from Baylee (a diamond art picture) as well," she shared.
"We have fan girled all morning! I even cried because it's wonderful to see my girl smile so much knowing the pain she's been in."
Taylor recently wrapped up her gigantic Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada on December 8.
The tour grossed $2 billion or ₱116 billion, the biggest in history.
According to Variety, Taylor Swift sold an impressive 10,168,008 tickets and generated a staggering $2,077,618,725 in gross revenue. Her monumental tour included 149 shows across 51 cities in 21 countries.
The pop star rewarded her staff and crew with $197 million or ₱11.43 billion in bonuses following the tour's conclusion.
