Elisse Joson admitted that balancing motherhood and career is challenging but the journey is worth it.

"Actually it's not easy. Kung ano 'yung nakikita niyo sa social media is not all that. Siyempre hindi rin naman din mapakita lahat but at the end of the day it's all worthwhile," she said in an interview with PUSH TV.

On the biggest adjustment she had to do when she became a parent, she relayed: "Pinakamahirap na masasabi kong adjustment is the balancing act. 'Yung time, 'yung scheduling, working, and also being hands on kaya saludo talaga ako sa mga moms who are able to do just that."

Despite the challenges, Elisse remarked that it is such a joy to see her daughter, Felize, evolve and grow.

"She's doing great. Every day napapansin ko ang bilis 'yung mga mga little things na nagagawa na niya, na kaya na niyang gawin. And masasabi ko na sobrang bilis talaga pala ng pacing ng mga bata ngayon," she stated.

How did motherhood change her?

"I feel like it is still changing me every day. Di ko masasabing na-master ko na 'yung pagiging mother but I'm just really happy na I got to do it with the good people around me who help out - my family, McCoy's (de Leon) family so meron kaming guidance  from people who are dear to us," she said.

Elisse gave birth to Felize in 2021, her baby with partner McCoy.

"Our little angel 👼🏻 ready to say hello to the world. Dearest Felize, life was uncertain before you came. I didn't know which path to take, the choices to make. I didn't know what to be, what I want to be.. Now, nothing is clearer to me than to be the best me, to be the best mommy, for you," Elisse wrote on her Instagram page as she announced the arrival of Felize in 2021.

She added: "I am lucky to have your daddy in my life and we are very lucky to have you, our greatest blessing, in our lives."
