SINGAPORE - It seems ABS-CBN reporter Marie Lozano has caught the fancy of Hollywood actor Anthony Mackie, who plays "Falcon" in "Marvel's Captain America: Civil War."
During Thursday's blue carpet event held at Marina Bay Sands to welcome the stars of the film to the country, the 37-year-old Mackie playfully gave his best pick-up line at Lozano when he spotted her among the media in attendance.
"I'm just a guy at a mall talking to a pretty girl," said Mackie, offering his own version of the famous quote from the 1999 film "Notting Hill."
Right after, he jumped the barrier to greet his fans waiting behind the media box, who have waited hours just to get a glimpse of their favorite actors in Marvel films.
Mackie, who has been vocal about his gratitude towards the support the film has been receiving, even took a selfie using one lucky fan's smartphone.
Chris Evans, who plays "Captain America" in the film, also attended the blue carpet event with Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and director Joe Russo.

The cast thanked the fans in attendance, pulling one of them from the crowd onstage to take a selfie with them.
"Marvel's Captain America: Civil War," which will see Captain America at odds with fellow Avenger "Iron Man" (Robert Downey Jr.) over a proposed law forcing superheroes to reveal their identities, will open in Philippine theaters on April 27.
