CANDON, Ilocos Sur — Alyssa Valdez headlines the 14-woman Alas Pilipinas squad set to defend home soil at the 2026 AVC Women's Cup in Candon, Ilocos Sur.
Valdez answers the call of duty once more, taking the mantle of being national team captain for the tournament.
Joining Valdez are Alyssa Solomon and Niña Ytang, who withdrew from the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft to focus on Alas responsibilities.

Powering the wing spiking duties are veterans Ces Molina, Jov Gonzaga, Royse Tubino, Tots Carlos, and Ara Galang.
The playmaking falls onto the shoulders of setters Kyle Negrito and Tin Ubaldo, while the floor will be defended by liberos Alyssa Eroa and Kyla Atienza.
Joining Ytang in the middle blocker rotation is Thea Gagate and Cla Loresco.
The pool phase kicks off Saturday, June 6, with the Philippines taking on Uzbekistan.
