MANILA — Lams Lamina hopes to prove her worth in the professional ranks, vowing to give her best to the team which would select her.
Lamina enters the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Draft after exhausting all of her five playing years in the UAAP with National University (NU) — winning three titles and two runner-up finishes at the collegiate level.
The decorated UAAP playmaker attended Day 1 of the Rookie Draft Combine on Thursday in Mandaluyong City.

The two-time Best Setter hopes to carve her own path in the PVL.

The NU product said she’s not having expectations amid the possibility of getting drafted by Capital1 with the second overall pick — a potential reunion with Bella Belen.
Regardless of the PVL club she eventually joins, she promised to give her all.
“Siguro po sa akin po, wala. Kasi hindi po talaga namin alam kung sino po 'yung magpi-pick po sa amin na team,” she said. “And ayun, siguro no expectation lang.
