MANILA (UPDATED) — Cignal is the second team to secure a qualifying round slot in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
The Super Spikers followed PLDT in earning at least a Top 4 finish, blasting the Bella Belen-paced Capital1 without dropping a single set, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20, on Saturday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

It was a triumphant day for coach Shaq delos Santos, winning earlier in the day with the UST Golden Tigresses against the FEU Lady Tamaraws, coupling it with a PVL win thanks in large part to a 23-point explosion from her star spiker, Vanie Gandler, who also had eight excellent receptions.
"Sobrang special ng day na ‘to. Ngayong Saturday, hindi ko alam kung ano pwedeng mangyari, ang good thing kasi ‘yung preparation talaga, 'yung skill. Itong Cignal happy ako sa naging response nila doon sa preparation namin, naging maganda ‘yung result," said Delos Santos during the postgame interview.
"I'm very proud of the team, of course. Because we worked so hard. Like, we really work very hard," said Gandler.
Erika Santos was likewise in double-digit scoring, tallying 13 points. No other Super Spiker breached the territory, and it proved to be enough as they ended the match in one hour, 34 minutes.
They won the attacking and blocking, scoring 47-38 and 9-2 from these departments, respectively.
Steering the pack was Gel Cayuna, who had 13 excellent sets, outplaying her counterpart Jasmine Nabor who only dished out seven excellent sets.
The Super Spikers held Belen, the league's scoring leader, to only 16 points, ending her continuous 20-point outputs that lasted for seven matches—and the first this conference.
