(UPDATED) Thai mentor Tai Bundit was appointed the head coach of Alas Pilipinas Women, following the decision of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) executive board.
He succeeds Brazilian tactician Jorge de Brito, who is now with Capital1 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
"Yes he was appointed last night as Head Coach of the Alas Women’s by the PNVF Executive Board," Liao told ABS-CBN News on Friday.

Bundit previously mentored champion teams such as Ateneo women's volleyball team and Creamline, and is currently supervising Criss Cross in the Spikers' Turf.
He isn't exactly new to the national team as he already held an assistant coach role, until he left, citing family reasons in 2021.
