MANILA (UPDATED) — Choco Mucho routed Akari as Eya Laure made her debut and Sisi Rondina made her return for the Flying Titans, 25-17, 25-23, 25-20, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.
The Rondina-Laure duo — who tallied 16 and 11 points, respectively — immediately unleashed a statement that they are ready to lead Choco Mucho to greater heights.
"Masaya, kasi namiss ko din talagang maglaro dito [sa] indoor with Choco Mucho and nadagdagan pa na kasama ko si Eya [Laure]," said Rondina, who also tallied 14 attacks, one block, and an ace.
"Nakaka-miss talaga," said Laure, referring to her reunion with a fellow ex-Tigress. "Malaking bagay na andiyan ulit siya [Sisi Rondina] sa tabi ko — magka-diagonal kami, gano'n."

"Kailangan lang niya tumulong sa receive," Laure, who also had five excellent digs and nine excellent receptions, said in jest.
After nailing the opener in an orderly fashion, 25-17, Rondina, who was coming from a triumphant beach volleyball campaign in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, spearheaded a comeback in Set 2 after falling down by as much as six.
Rondina made it feel that she never left as she capped a 10-2 Flying Titans run on a sharp attack and a set-clinching service ace to snatch the second frame, 25-23.

And then, the Flying Titans went on a 6-2 run to close out the match in Set 3, concluded by a game-clinching Dindin Santiago-Manabat off-the-block hit, marking Choco Mucho's victorious start.
"Siyempre, happy sa naging performance namin. Lalo na sa second set na sobrang layo ng hinabol namin, pero nakuha namin 'yung panalo sa second set," coach Dante Alinsunurin noted.
On the other hand, Fifi Sharma was the lone bright spot for Akari as the only double-digit scorer with 10 points.
