MANILA — The hype continues for the upcoming FIVB Men's World Championship 2025, with the "Set Na Natin ’To" trophy and mascot tour reaching Laoag City, Ilocos Norte this Saturday.
This is still part of the campaign to promote the upcoming Philippine-hosted contest, scheduled for September 12 to 28 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) chief Ramon "Tats" Suzara previously echoed the need to tap volleyball fans on the countryside during the campaign kickoff exactly a week ago, August 13.

"We need to promote [the MWCH 2025] more para sa mga provincial fans natin," said Suzara by then.
A mini tournament featuring four Ilocos Norte teams—Block Builders, Laoag MVT, PSQ, and NWU—will be one of the highlights of the MWCH-promotional event this Saturday at SM City Laoag.
Activities will start at around 10 a.m., culminating with the formal program at 6 p.m.

Faivo Bartolome, a charter member of the PNVF as president of Ilocos Norte volleyball sports consultant, said invitations were already handed out to Governor Cecilia Marcos and Vice Governor Matthew Manotoc, as well as Laoag City Mayor James Bryan Alcid and Vice Mayor Rey Carlos Fariñas.
After the Laoag leg, the trophy and mascot tour will proceed to SM Downtown in Cagayan de Oro City.
