MANILA – Angel Canino, Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon will be suiting up again for Alas Pilipinas Women in the first leg of the 5th SEA V.League in Thailand.
The star trio, who were keys to Alas' silver medal finish in the AVC Nations Cup in June, are part of the official lineup for the regional tournament, as revealed by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) on its official social media pages.
UAAP stars Shaina Nitura and Cla Loresco are likewise rejoining the team led by head coach Jorge Souza de Brito.
Aside from AVC Best Outside Spiker Canino, ex-NU stars Belen and Solomon, Nitura is also returning to Alas Women after missing action in the VTV Cup.
Team captain Jia De Guzman and Mars Alba will be the setters of the team, while liberos Dawn Catindig and Justin Jazareno will be in charge of floor defense.

Joining them are Eya Laure, Vanie Gandler and Leila Cruz, who provide options on offense for Alas.
Middle blockers Dell Palomata, Maddie Madayag, Fifi Sharma and Thea Gagate are also back to reinforce the Alas frontline.
Absent from the lineup are Filipino-American players Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips and Tia Andaya.

De Brito earlier said the paperwork of the Fil-Am standouts has been completed before the FIVB, but there is no word yet if their transfer has been officially cleared.
Alas Women seek to boost their ranking from the current world no. 47, with FIVB world ranking points on the line.
The first leg of the SEA V.League will be from August 1 to 3 in Thailand, while the second leg will run from August 8 to 10 in Vietnam.
