MANILA, Philippines – Japanese coach Koji Tsuzurabara has parted ways with the Petro Gazz Angels, more than three months after guiding the team to a breakthrough PVL All-Filipino championship.
The squad made it official on Friday, posting a heartfelt parting message to the now-titled coach on Facebook.
Petro Gazz said Tsuzurabara is returning to Japan with his family.

He is also "looking for opportunities," the statement added.
"Coach Koji, as you return home to Japan to be with your family, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude. Your decision to pursue new opportunities in your continuing volleyball journey is acknowledged with deep respect," the post read.
"Thank you for the time and dedication you have shared with us. You have been more than just a coach, you have been a mentor, a teacher, and a true inspiration."
It was just more than a year since Tsuzurabara joined Petro Gazz.
Besides the All-Filipino crown, Tsuzurabara also towed the squad to a winning run in the 2024 PNVF Champions League.
