MANILA, Philippines – Cignal has signed four new players ahead of its upcoming title defense in 2025 Spikers’ Turf.
The HD Spikers have signed opposite spiker Jayrack Dela Noche, outside hitter Vince Maglinao, middle blocker KC Andrade, and Fil-Canadian libero Lhexen Rabit, sending their intention to the rest of the league to retain the men’s volleyball crown.
“We’re looking to continue to build on the Cignal HD brand of excellence for men’s volleyball,” said HD Spikers head coach Dexter Clamor.
"Kami nga yung pinakamatagal na pro squad here sa Philippines and we’re always looking for ways to improve. Hopefully, with these new additions, we’ll be ready to defend our crown in the upcoming conferences."
Dela Noche, a former UST Golden Spiker, brings his collegiate experience to the pros after graduating with a degree in Fitness and Sports Management from the España-based university.

A consistent force on the right pin, Dela Noche earned the Best Opposite Spiker award in UAAP Season 85 and led his team to back-to-back runner-up finishes in Seasons 85 and 86. He also gained international exposure as a member of the Philippine national team during the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Former DLSU Green Spiker Maglinao is also making the leap to the pros after completing his UAAP eligibility.
A true-blooded Lasallian, having studied at both De La Salle Lipa and DLSU Manila, Maglinao was part of the Green Spikers’ 2023 V-League title run and helped the team reach the UAAP Final Four from Seasons 85 to 87. He reunites with former college teammate JM Ronquillo as they team up once again in red and white.

Meanwhile, Andrade comes in with a winning pedigree, having helped University of Perpetual Help capture back-to-back NCAA men’s volleyball titles in Seasons 98 and 99.
A Business Administration graduate, Andrade was recognized as the second Best Middle Blocker in Season 99 and is a three-time PUVL champion. He now looks to carry that winning culture into the professional ranks.
Rabit, who hails from Ontario, Canada, rounds out the new additions.

A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Design and Queen’s University with a Master’s in Industrial Relations, Rabit brings his international experience to Cignal. He was an OUA Eastern Conference First-Team All-Star during his college days and is expected to bring stability and grit to the team’s floor defense.
Cignal has dominated the Spikers’ Turf over the last three conferences and now sets its sights on adding another piece of hardware in the upcoming conference, slated to begin in October.
