MANILA, Philippines – Fil-Canadian spiker Savi Davison bared her plans Thursday after PLDT bowed out of the AVC Women's Champions League.
The High Speed Hitters lost to Kazakhstan's Zhetysu in the knockout quarterfinal, 13-25, 22-25, 20-25, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Davison said she will be opting to rest and play for Team Canada during the Premier Volleyball League off-season.
When asked about being chosen for the Alas Pilipinas Women tryouts, Davison answered that it's "just not my priority," citing the long 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference and upcoming stint with Team Canada.
"I'll actually go home for a little bit. When I'm at home, I’ll actually play in semi-pro tournaments with the girls from Team Canada. I'll be continuously competing throughout the summer — hopefully, safely," said Davison.

"Maybe when December comes, but right now, it's [Alas Pilipinas tryouts] just not my priority. We just came off of a really long conference plus the AVC," Davison added.
Davison remains open for the possibility of playing for Alas, but not at the moment.
"I'm going to get as far from volleyball as I can for the next month and then maybe dabble in it. But right now, it's not on my list for at least this moment. So just keeping it up, just floating, just not volleyball."
