RODRIGUEZ, Rizal — After a stinging loss last Tuesday, PLDT vented its ire on Farm Fresh, 22-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-16, in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Saturday at the Ynares Center Montalban.
They were coming from a 17-25, 22-25, 21-25 sweep loss at the hands of Cignal.
"Before the game, ang reminders talaga 'yung composure namin. Ni-remind lang sila na lahat nga ng games, nagiging mahirap. Naging lesson sa 'min from the previous game, in-apply lang ulit," said coach Rald Ricafort during the postgame press conference.
The High Speed Hitters bucked a setback in the opening frame, flipping the script in the succeeding frames to clinch the four-set victory and return to the win column.
"Hindi namin nakuha 'yung first set, pero pinilit talaga ng players na mag-recover agad," Ricafort added.

As usual, Fil-Canadian star spiker Savi Davison was at the forefront of all of these, firing 20 points on 18 attacks to go with eight excellent receptions, gaining Player of the Game nod.
Import Anastasiia Bavykina had 18 points, while playmaker Kim Fajardo orchestrated the offense with 21 excellent sets and had 14 excellent digs.
On the other hand, this was the Foxies' first defeat of the tournament, seeing their franchise-best start go to a halt and walk off the Rizal venue with a 3-1 win-loss card.
Eli Rousseaux remained stellar for her team, firing a triple-double of 21 attack points, 11 excellent digs, and 10 excellent receptions.
Trisha Tubu and Ces Molina made their presence felt with 12 and 10 markers, respectively.
The High Speed Hitters seek to continue their winning ways against Nxled on Friday, October 31, while aims to bounce back against Choco Mucho on the same game date.
