MANILA -- Savouge breathed life into their semifinals bid in the 2024 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference by sweeping D'Navigators Iloilo, 28-26, 25-21, 25-19, Sunday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Spin Doctors showcased their poise in the opening set and rode that momentum to complete the straight sets victory, snapping a two-game slide.
They improved to 5-2 and regained the No. 4 spot in the league standings, with still two games left in their elimination round schedule.

The Spin Doctors benefited from D'Navigators' unforced errors in the closing stretch of Set 2, before Giles Torres denied Kent Sabando at the net for a two-set advantage.
They went on to claim a 16-9 advantage in the third frame en route to wrapping up the match in an hour and 40 minutes.
Norwel Sanama led the way for Savouge with 16 points on 15 kills, while Torres finished with 12 points including four kill blocks.
The D'Navigators are now reeling from seven straight losses after opening their campaign with a win against the Chichi DHTSI Titans. They are now at ninth place in the ten-team league, and will close their campaign against the Martelli Meats Master Butchers on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
In a shorthanded nine-player lineup, Kyle Villamor led the D'Navigators with nine points and five receptions, while Madz Gampong and Bryan Jaleco chipped in with eight and seven points, respectively.
