MANILA (UPDATED) – The Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) has released the ticket prices and selling date for the upcoming Philippine Women's Open, the country's first-ever WTA tournament.
Tickets for the qualifying and main draw matches will be available starting on Wednesday, both online and onsite through its partner SM Tickets.
The qualifying matches will run from January 24 to 25, while the main draw matches are from January 26 to 29.
Tickets for the qualifying matches are priced at P200 per day, while the first four days of the main draw matches are P1,000 free seating per day.

"Our tickets are partnered with SM Tickets for the distribution, so it's easy. You can buy online, you can buy at any SM mall, and you can pick up your tickets at SM or at the venue during the tournament," PHILTA Executive Director Tonette Mendoza said during the press conference in Pasay City on Tuesday.
"We're going to be selling our regular free seating tickets starting tomorrow, so that's at midnight, for the January 24 to 29 tickets," she added.
Prices will change for the semifinals and finals, with the selling date to be announced by PHILTA next week.
Tickets for the semis and finals will be P1,500 and P2,000 and there will be reserved seating in the newly renovated center court.
"So it's very affordable, we just want everybody to come. And then there's a lot to do in Rizal Memorial [Stadium] not just to watch tennis. You can go around the fanzone, go to the museum, see the history of Philippine sports," Mendoza shared.
Matches can be watched live and for free online through WTA Unlocked for members.
The Philippine Women's Open will run from January 26 to 31 at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila.
Organizers assured that the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center will be ready in time for the tournament. The venue is still undergoing renovation.
"You go there (the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center) and see hundreds of workers working into the wee hours of the morning. We have not only mobilized the PSC group but also the City of Manila and the DPWH," Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Patrick Gregorio said.
"The fact that we are already using the courts for a qualifying tournament among our top local players for the Philippine Women's Open means that it (the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center) is almost ready," said PHILTA secretary general John Rey Tiangco at the same briefing.
