MANILA -- Filipina tennis star Alex Eala took a moment to savor her historic breakthrough as she shared photos from her maiden WTA 125 title run in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Eala posted photos on social media, featuring snapshots from her matches and a celebratory shot with the championship trophy.
She captioned the post: “🏆👈 Trophy appreciation post before I start the Asian swing!”

The 20-year-old sensation departed Manila this morning to kick off her Asian campaign, beginning with the WTA 125 Jingshan Open from September 22 to 28.
Her Guadalajara triumph earlier this month marked the biggest title of her young career and propelled her to world No. 57 in the latest rankings, just one shy of her career-high.
