Eala, currently ranked 74th by the World Tennis Association, will face Jelena Ostapenko, this time on grass in the Round of 16 of the Eastbourne Open.
Their match is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. (Manila time) on Wednesday.

Ostapenko, ranked 20th globally, was one of Eala's victims in the Filipina's majestic campaign at the 2025 Miami Open.

They're up for a grudge match as Eala made easy work of World No. 61 Lucia Bronzetti, 6-0, 6-1, while Ostapenko is coming off a 6-3, 7-6(2) romp of United Kingdom's Sonay Kartal.
The winner of the Eala-Ostapenko II will battle the victor of Francesca Jones and Dayana Yastremska's showdown in the next round.
