'I've been here before': Manny Pacquiao confident ahead of showdown with Mario Barrios

LAS VEGAS — Manny Pacquiao made it clear that he’s unfazed by the 16-year age gap between him and WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at today’s press conference for their upcoming clash.

“Don’t worry about it,” Pacquiao said with a grin when asked about his age. “I’ve been here before. I know what to do.”

Manny Pacquiao begins training for boxing comeback

The two fighters traded verbal jabs on stage, but Barrios remained respectful, acknowledging Pacquiao’s storied career.

“I know what Manny Pacquiao has done for this sport, but I’m here to defend my title,” Barrios said.

Pacquiao, who hasn’t fought professionally in four years, emphasized that he’s ready to make history once again.

“I’m here to show everyone that I still have what it takes,” he said. “I’m excited for this challenge.”

It's official: Pacquiao confirms return bout against Mario Barrios

The fight is scheduled for July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be available via Amazon Prime pay-per-view.
