
MANILA – Following her stint in Japan, Gilas Pilipinas Women standout Jack Animam is heading back to Europe.
Animam will be playing for Polish women's basketball club Energa Toruń, her management Titus Sports and the team announced on Thursday.
"Together with Jack Danielle Animam @animamjd, we are excited to announce that she will be continuing her professional career in Poland for Energa Toruń. #TITUS🗡️," the management's post on social media read.
Animam is expected to debut in the Orlen Basket Liga Kobiet, the professional women's basketball league in Poland.
"Jack makes history as first homegrown Filipino to play in Poland," her management further wrote in its post.
Before Poland, Animam recently played for the Denso Iris in the Women's Japan Basketball League.
The Filipina cager helped lead the team to its first Women's Japan Basketball League title in the 2025-2026 season.
Animam has played in Japan, Romania, Serbia, France, China and Australia so far in her professional career.
