MANILA – Dwight Ramos cherished being a part of Levanga Hokkaido's best season in the Japan B.League, while also putting up his finest performance in five seasons.
Despite narrowly missing out on the playoffs, Levanga Hokkaido posted a franchise-best record of 37 wins and 23 losses in the 2025-2026 B.League season.
In his return to Manila, the 27-year-old guard looked back at the season with Levanga Hokkaido.

"For me, it was a big thing this year. 'Cause all the years I've been there, we never even reached like .500. We've always had losing records. And then for the first time, the franchise just grew like right there borderline making the playoffs," he said in the B.League Final Week Manila on Thursday.
Ramos said he felt a different kind of fulfillment seeing his team grow and improve through four seasons.
"It felt good for me because I was able to stick with the teams through the hard times. And then to finally come this year, the team was good, the season was good," he said.

"It was good for me to grow with the team and not just join a top team that's already a winner. So it felt like that was more satisfying to me," Ramos shared.
The Gilas Pilipinas standout played a career-high 60 games and averaged 12.2 points per game in the 2025-2026 B.League season.
"It was my best season in the B.League. Me personally, I played the most games in one season. It was pretty much career highs especially with my stats so it was a very great year for me and the team," he shared.
"I guess just for the stats, I try to get better every year. As long as it keeps going up, I'm happy," Ramos said.
After the B.League season, Ramos took a quick break before turning his focus to preparing for another tour of duty for Gilas.
Ramos is among the Filipino hoop stars from Japan in the country for the B.League Final Week Manila.
