The Elasto Painters rebuffed Terrafirma's late uprising, 124-117, to stay unscathed in seven games, Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, Rizal.
Despite RoS leading by as much as 26 earlier in the game, the Dyip rallied their way back, closing within seven points, 116-109, 2:58 left on the fourth quarter clock.

After forcing a shot clock violation on the Elasto Painters, Mubashar Ali could not capitalize on it, suffering a sorry miss on his layup after escaping past his counterpart, Jaylen Johnson.
That's when Yeng Guiao's wards punished the Dyip.
Johnson showed how it was done, finishing on the drive — even without looking at the board and ring — with a crafty layup, 118-109. Moments later, Brent Paraiso, who was by then having an impressive night, botched his trip to the 15-foot line, missing entirely, 1:28 left.

Arthur Roque made a basket for a 120-109 RoS lead, but Jerrick Ahanmisi kept his team within seven again with a four-pointer, 120-113. That's when Vince Cuajao stepped up, firing a three of his own to expand the gap further, 123-113, as the Elasto Painters finally run away with the win.
Rain or Shine showcased a balanced attack, led by Johnson and Anton Asistio who had 18 points each. The import also had 12 rebounds and 10 assists, completing a triple-double.

The guard out of Ateneo de Manila University also added two rebounds and three assists to go with two steals to be named Best Player of the Game.
Roque finished with 15 points, Adrian Nocum contributed 13 points, and Gian Mamuyac also had 11 markers.
Meanwhile, Ali had a 32-point night while adding 19 rebounds, but had seven turnovers in the loss. Ahanmisi chipped in 21 markers, while Paraiso, in one of his better games, delivered 19 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.
Terrafirma, after winning its first three games, has now lost four in a row.
