MANILA — NLEX head coach Jong Uichico was full of praises for Robert Bolick after the former San Beda Red Lion hit the clutch triple that stole the lead from Ginebra on Friday.
It was a comeback win for the Road Warriors, completed by Bolick, whom Uichico described as "born to take" those kinds of shots.
After his clutch three to put NLEX up 115-113, he made a set of free throws that further expanded their lead to four.
For Uichico, Bolick might commit faults, but he is expecting his star to make the right calls late in the match.

"Diskarte na talaga 'yon. Basta in the endgame, Berto, diskarte na. He has a good feel for the game," said the tactician. "May mga instance na turnover din siya, nagmintis pa, pero alam mo naman in the endgame, he will make the right decision."
"He could have missed the shot, but it's the shot he's born to take. Sanay siya sa ganung tira."
For Bolick, it's a shot he has been practicing.
"'Yon 'yung mga tinatrabaho ko araw-araw sa practice, pagdating sa sitwasyon na gano'n, kumpiyansa lang. Tiwala lang sa trinabaho ko from high school, college, hanggang nag-pro ako. 'Pag nag-miss 'yon, ako naman sisisihin. Gano'n talaga basketball, said Bolick.
"Kumpiyansa lang, tinatrabaho ko naman 'to araw-araw, and 'yon, buti naman pumasok," he said.
Bolick finished with 32 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and one steal, and was named Best Player of the Game.
