MANILA, Philippines – Mikey Williams made a rare visit to the PBA on Friday, as he watched his former team, TNT, battle Barangay Ginebra in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
Williams, who has been nowhere to be seen in the league since April 2023 amid a contract dispute between him and the Tropang GIGA, watched courtside and witnessed his former teammates escape Ginebra, 91-86, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Williams also said that "he'll always love his teammates" in TNT--where he earned two PBA championships.
"I love all my teammates, I love playing with them. There's always gonna be love regardless whether I'm on the team or not," he said.
Williams will be lacing his basketball shoes soon, but for a different team as he joins the Strong Group Athletics.
SGA will be participating in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
