MANILA, Philippines – Former Ateneo de Manila University standout Chris Koon is the final addition to the Strong Group Athletics roster that will participate in the upcoming 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
The Dubai tiff is set to take place from January 24 to February 2, 2025.
Koon, a 6-foot-5 guard, played his final collegiate season during UAAP Season 87, where he averaged 7.58 points, 4.17 rebounds, and 1.83 assists per game.
His inclusion marks the beginning of his pro career with Strong Group.

"He has good size as a wing, can shoot, can defend. I think he will be a good role player for us. And we all know he’s been well coached and comes from a great school and program, so it’s good to have him," said Strong Group head coach Charles Tiu.
The Strong Group Athletics team is now complete with a blend of local and international talents.
