MANILA, Philippines – Several personalities from the sports world cast their vote on Monday, fulfilling their responsibilities as citizens.
Filipina weightlifter and Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz participated in the elections as she cast her vote in Rizal province.

Volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez, fresh from watching the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball finals Game 1 on Sunday, shared on Instagram a photo of her finger with indelible ink, signifying that she has already voted.
"Your vote is your power -- use it wisely," she said.

TNT head coach Chot Reyes did the same thing, posting a snap of his finger with the caption, "Done!"

Boxing legend and Senate candidate Manny Pacquiao has also cast his vote at Kiamba Central Elementary School in Sarangani.
Former professional basketball player Asi Taulava proudly announced on Instagram that he had already cast his ballot.
"Magandang umaga Mojon! Done with voting!" Taulava said.
Chris Tiu, who had just returned to playing hoops, and volleyball star Jovelyn Gonzaga, have also exercised their right to vote.

Opposite spiker Michele Gumabao also campaigned for her brother, Marco, who is running for congressman of the fourth district of Camarines Sur under the National Unity Party.
