MANILA – Chery Tiggo clinched its second win in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference after cruising past Nxled, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23, on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
The Crossovers seemed like they figured it all out despite missing the support of Alas Pilipinas members spiker Eya Laure and libero Jen Nierva.
Import Khat Bell and local Ara Galang fueled the Chery Tiggo offense after dropping 21 and 11 points, respectively.
No Chameleon listed double-digit scoring for coach Chen Gang.
"Siyempre happy ako na naka-contribute ako sa team para manalo. 'Yun naman din 'yung goal ko, so super happy," Galang said during the postgame press conference.
After the Kungfu Reyes-coached squad collected a 2-0 set lead, the Chameleons put up a gallant stand in the final canto and even took the lead after Galang committed an attack error at 22-23.
