Roosevelt Adams and the Yamagata Wyverns have posted their fifth win in the 2024-25 season of the Japan B.League.
This, after Yamagata moved past the Kumamoto Volters, 85-80, in their Saturday afternoon face-off at the Yamagata City General Sports Center.
Adams contributed six rebounds and three points after playing for 20:55 minutes, while leading the Wyverns were James Bell (25 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one block) and Kazuma Okajima (20 points, three rebounds, two assists).
This victory of Yamagata pushed them to sixth in the Eastern Division as they improved to five wins and nine losses in the team standings.
Meanwhile, Geo Chiu and the Ehime Orange Vikings were not able to duplicate the victory of Adams and the Wyverns.

The Orange Vikings were dominated by the Kobe Storks, 92-77, at the Kobe City Central Gymnasium.
The former Ateneo de Manila University big man scattered five markers, two boards, one dime, and one rejection in 19:39 minutes of action for Ehime.
Meanwhile, Kobe's Chaundee Brown Jr.'s star shone the brightest as he erupted for 31 points with six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block against the Orange Vikings.
Following this game, Ehime fell to one win and 13 losses, seventh in the Western Division.
