The 36-year-old Daquis, who was not in uniform for the Farm Fresh Foxies on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, said she is taking her time and she wants to be in "one hundred percent" condition before seeing volleyball action again.

"Actually, maghihintay lang din tayo kung puwede ako makalaro. Wala pang certain time, pero step-by-step gagawin kasi ayoko din naman na pagbalik ko ma-injure so dapat talagang one hundred percent na kaya talaga," said Daquis.

"Kakasabay ko palang sa Farm Fresh last month, so kailangan makabalik ako sa kapa ng bola. Kahit nakakapag-work out ako, siyempre nag-stop ako sa paglalaro mismo, so ‘yun ‘yung wino-work out ko."
Coincidentally, Daquis's new team Farm Fresh Foxies has taken on her former squad Cignal HD Spikers early in the season, which caught her by surprise.
"Nagulat nga ako agad pero let’s face the reality. Talagang makakalaban at makakalaban ko talaga si Cignal," she said.
Daquis, who joined Farm Fresh just a month ago, also expressed desire to bring her valuable experience from Cignal to the young squad.
"Alam mo ‘yun, kung ano ‘yung mga natutunan ko sa Cignal, kung ano ‘yung mga naging paghihirap namin as a Cignal player, gusto ko madala sa Farm Fresh," the Far Eastern University (FEU) product said.
Notably, Jheck Dionela, Jolina dela Cruz, Lorene Toring, and Pia Ildefonso also did not play for the Foxies today.
