A number of evacuation orders were issued for mobile home parks and apartments in Georgetown, with local authorities also saying staff, cats and dogs at an animal shelter had to be relocated from the facility.
At least 43 people, including 15 children, have been confirmed dead following floods across Texas, authorities said on Saturday as rescuers continued a frantic search for dozens more campers, vacationers and residents who were still missing.
