Katrina Llegado received a warm welcome from her fellow queens after being crowned Miss Supranational 2026 in Poland over the weekend.

Eduarda Braum of Brazil passed her crown to the Filipina beauty queen, declaring the start of a "beautiful new chapter."

The two first met when Braum visited Manila as a reigning titleholder.

"Congratulations, my queen. Now it's your time to shine," she told Llegado.

Braum also reminded her successor of what the Miss Supranational title is all about, and assured that she will always be there for her.

"Being Miss Supranational is so much more than wearing a crown. It is about leading with love, kindness, and purpose. I know you will carry this title with grace, humility, and the beautiful heart that makes you so special," she said.

"Enjoy every moment of this incredible journey. It will change your life forever."

Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador also took to social media to congratulate Llegado, saying she now has "a new Supra sister."

"I have such a soft spot for your beautiful country," she said of the Philippines. "One of my best friends in the world is Filipino, and through that friendship I’ve fallen even more in love with your culture. The people are incredibly warm, the food is amazing, and every interaction I've had with Filipinos has left me smiling."

"Congratulations, Queen. Enjoy every single second of this journey because it truly is one of the most unforgettable experiences," she continued. "I already know you're going to have the most incredible year as Miss Supranational. Welcome to the sisterhood!"

Llegado, a pageant veteran who competed in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 stage, ended the Philippines' 13-year title drought in Miss Supranational.

She is the country's second titleholder after Mutya Datul in 2013.
