Someone, Someday” finally began its much-awaited journey brimming with magnetic characters, emotional backstories, and unsettling mysteries. Straight away after episode one, viewers were left entertained and intrigued by the series, as they anticipate the next events that will test the close connection between Kathryn Bernardo’s Billy Cariño and James Reid’s Jordan Valentin.

Over the years, Multimedia Prince James Reid has built a name for himself as one of the most recognized personalities that contributed to making the Pinoy rom-com genre a cultural phenomenon. Lots of fans already know a great deal about James, but there could be more things you might not have come across in this exclusive interview with the “Someone, Someday” star.

On the subject of friendship, James described his circle of friends as being the family that he carefully chose. “We’re gonna go on a lot of wild adventures together,” he added.

Along with that, James always remained expressive about his love for his family members, most notably his English Australian father, whom he frequently spent time with during his younger years. James’ father proved to be supportive in a whole lot of ways, especially when he drove James to shootings, managed his busy schedules, and so much more. “As a kid I was a daddy’s boy. As an adult, I’m a mama’s boy,” James shared, not forgetting to appreciate his Filipina mother.

James has seven siblings, and one of the closest to him is Laura Reid, his half-sister from his father’s side. Despite not being twins, the two used to joke about this when they were little. “In school, we used to tell other people that we were twins,” James recalled, smiling at the memory.

Given his status as a popular actor, James stayed grounded, affirming that he never stops learning. For James, the acting profession gives him the chance to grow with each character he portrays.

As for his work as a singer, his creative process is something that he treasures dearly and genuinely shares with those who support him tirelessly. “At the point [when] it comes out [or when] the song is released, I see it kind of like I'm releasing my kid into the world… My first time singing [was] in front of millions on national television, not typical for your first time singing,” he reminisced.

What surprises are on the way when it comes to James Reid’s character as Jordan Valentin? Let’s find out together in “Someone, Someday,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
