iWant vertical rom-com series “Will You Fake Marry Me?” lead stars JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith doubled the excitement on the lively set of “Everybody, Sing!” during the community singing game show’s “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot round.
Along with their four chosen “repre-sing-tatives” from the Songbayanang Maglolo at Maglola, JMFyang completed five rounds of singing the five consecutive missing lyrics of a song. Each correct answer earned the songbayanan a ₱20,000 cash prize and added an extra second to their jackpot timer.
Tasked with identifying the missing lyrics of the timeless OPM hit “Harana” by Parokya ni Edgar, JMFyang and their group got off to a rocky start after struggling with their first two guesses. Despite the early setbacks, the team quickly bounced back in the succeeding guessing rounds, where they secured three correct answers.
The impressive recovery of JMFyang and their chosen players earned the Songbayanang Maglolo at Maglola a ₱60,000 head start for the upcoming lyric-guessing games they would play during the show’s Sunday episode. The additional three seconds they gained from the “Singko Blanko” round brought the songbayanan’s total accumulated time to 33 seconds for the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot game.
