Before the mind-boggling case of Walter (Sam Milby) that entangled Vincent (Paulo Avelino), Stella (Kim Chiu), and their families in mystery, Vincent was simply a hardworking man and a devoted father to his daughter, Bea (Ayesha Bajeta). Beneath his assertive nature is someone willing to risk everything for his unconditional love toward her.

1. Vincent as a caring father
Coming home from work, Vincent finds Bea peacefully asleep in her bedroom, and he grows worried about her fever. He then looks for Claudia (Sofia Andres), who later appears and explains that she was busy preparing for Arthur’s (John Arcilla) birthday party. “Sana hindi ka muna umalis kasi may lagnat ang anak natin,” Vincent firmly tells her.
2. Vincent protects Bea
After the party, Vincent returns to their villa and finds Bea sleeping alone, with Claudia nowhere in sight. He calls Edward (Robbie Jaworski) to ask if he has seen her, but Edward says he hasn’t. As Vincent searches outside, Bea follows him and asks where her mother could be. Vincent quickly takes her away, not wanting her to witness Claudia with Walter.
3. Vincent as Bea’s hero
With the issues he and Claudia are facing, Vincent continues to draw strength from Bea. The little girl shows him a hero she drew at school. “Ikaw ang hero ko, Daddy,” Bea proudly says, adding that whenever she has bad dreams, Vincent is always there to comfort her, proving how strong he is. She wraps him in a tight hug, unwilling to let him go.
4. Vincent’s lucky charm
In his free time, Vincent goes fishing and joins a video call with Bea. Disappointed by his small catch, he calls Bea his lucky charm and tells her how much he misses spending time with her. Bea tells him she will accompany him once her summer vacation begins.
5. Vincent’s promise to Bea
As Vincent and Stella leave the house, Vincent notices Bea playing in the living room. She asks if he is leaving and wonders when he will come back to spend time with her. Bea admits that she cannot sleep without Vincent.
Her words warm Vincent’s heart, and he assures her that they will soon return to their normal lives. “Miss na miss na kita, anak. Lagi mong tatandaan na love na love ka ni Daddy,” he tells her, tearing up as he embraces Bea tightly.

After taking care of Claudia, Vincent goes to Bea’s room. Before Bea drifts off to sleep, Vincent speaks to her. She asks if Claudia is doing okay, and Vincent consoles her, telling her that she will be fine before kissing her goodnight. Stella also comforts Bea, easing her worries about Claudia.
7. Vincent shares a sweet moment with Bea
While eating chips, Vincent makes a funny face to show Bea, only to find her crying. He asks why, but she laughs at his goofy expression. “I miss you na, Daddy,” Bea says, and Vincent tells her the same. She plays with her toys and shows them to Vincent, who fondly watches her while quietly holding back his tears.
8. Vincent’s gentle promise to Bea
Bea rings Vincent’s phone, asking if he can visit her, then abruptly ends the call. Later, Vincent reads her a bedtime story. When he tells her to rest, she refuses and asks for more, afraid of waking up to find him gone again. “Daddy, mahirap po ba talaga akong mahalin?” Bea asks. Vincent is taken aback but gently tells her that she is never hard to love.
9. Vincent bonds with Bea
Vincent brings Stella to the park to spend time with her. Unexpectedly, Bea arrives with Claudia. Claudia explains that Bea wanted to see Vincent, as they used to go to the park together as a family. Bea asks Vincent to ride a bike with her, and he happily bonds with her.
10. Bea's surprise visit
Bea, Claudia, and Fiona (Alora Sasam) drop by Vincent’s place. Later, Vincent arrives with Stella. Vincent tells Bea he needs a moment to speak with Claudia, and Claudia asks Bea to stay with Fiona for a while. Fiona and Stella exchange teasing remarks before Bea walks with Fiona downstairs.
