Following Datu Rahman’s (Jaime Fabregas) shocking surrender to Jalil (Gerald Anderson) as Major Allan, Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) questions how he found the Datu, since he was highly difficult to track down after multiple abductions by Lara (Bela Padilla) and Felix’s (Baron Geisler) henchmen.
In response, Jalil reasons that the Muslim community trusts him, which is why he was assigned a position at NLEA. Likewise, Datu Rahman simply believes him to fulfill his duties; therefore, Jalil also hopes that Task Force Alpha will do theirs in protecting the Datu until the president’s chief of staff, Ahmad (Robin Padilla), arrives.
When Marcus argues that he knows how to carry out his duties, Jalil discloses that he has knowledge of Marcus hiding Datu Rahman shortly after he saved him from being held captive inside the ZylveriX building. Seeing Marcus’ shocked and anxious expression, Jalil then expresses his gratitude while reassuring Marcus that he understands his good intent and will keep the secret between them.
