Actress-filmmaker and “Blood vs Duty” star Bela Padilla joined the residents of the flooded community of Calumpit, Bulacan as their celebrity “resbak,” or guest player, in the newly introduced “Singko Blangko” round on the first day of the pilot weekend on Saturday, May 2.
In this mini-game, the “songbayanan” was challenged to complete missing lyrics from songs with the help of the celebrity guest player—for this episode, Bela—and his/her four chosen “repre-sing-tatives.” Each correct line adds ₱20,000 and 1 second to the jackpot timer, while a perfect score can add ₱200,000 and 10 seconds.
Before the game began, host Vice Ganda quizzed Bela about her go-to karaoke song, to which she enthusiastically shared her love for Aegis songs and even confidently performed “Luha” with the show’s resident live band, Six Part Invention.
Bela and her team were assigned the Eraserheads song “Pare Ko” and managed to correctly complete three out of five lyric lines, earning the “songbayanan” an additional ₱60,000 and 3 extra seconds for the jackpot round. By the end of the episode, they had accumulated a total of 35 seconds for the final jackpot timer.
