Stella (Kim Chiu) blocks Claudia's (Sofia Andres) attempt to slap her in the April 28 episode of “The Alibi.”
Claudia visits Vincent (Paulo Avelino) to try to talk to him, only to be surprised that Stella still lives with him under the same roof. Stella explains that she is helping Vincent with his new broadcasting venture, but Claudia mocks her. “May laman ba ‘yang utak mo?” She insults Stella.
Though she didn't finish school, Stella argues that life’s challenges have already taught her enough experiences. “Siguro nga mas marami ka lang pwedeng ibigay kay Vincent. Pero ako, handa akong ibigay sa kanya ang lahat,” she says—something Claudia failed to do in supporting her husband.
“Iba rin ang tigas at kapal ng pagmumukha mo,” Claudia expresses how shameless she finds Stella, especially for visiting the resort the same night she was caught having an affair with Walter (Sam Milby). Stella retorts that her presence at that time was because of Vincent, who had called for her services after seeing Claudia with Walter.
This fuels Claudia’s rage, and she raises her palm to slap Stella, but fails to do so. “Sige, ituloy mo, nang magkaalaman tayo kung kaninong palad ang mas makapal sa ating dalawa,” Stella fires back, threatening Claudia to return her attacks. This prompts Claudia to leave.
