Vincent (Paulo Avelino) witnesses the attack on Matthew (Rafael Rosell) in the April 17 episode of “The Alibi.”
Upon seeing Vincent at their house, Matthew immediately apologizes for bringing Stella (Kim Chiu) to the investor’s ball. He even allows Vincent to throw a punch at him, but Vincent simply tells him to forget everything that happened. This surprises Matthew, who had been expecting Vincent’s fury.
Vincent then tells Matthew that if he really wants to make things right, he needs to help him make up with his father, Arthur (John Arcilla). Matthew agrees right away, but their conversation is cut short when Matthew gets a phone call, leaving Vincent alone. Vincent takes advantage of the situation to go through Matthew's desk and look for anything that might link him to Walter (Sam Milby).
Finding a poker chip on his table leads Vincent to follow Matthew, who visits the casino later that night. Observing from afar, Vincent sees Matthew being taken away by several bodyguards to the parking lot. There, Matthew is assaulted because of his unpaid debts. As he lies weak on the ground, Matthew spots Vincent, who quickly hides from him.
