Stella (Kim Chiu) cuts ties with Vincent (Paulo Avelino) and withdraws from their agreement in the April 15 episode of “The Alibi.”
Katherine (Angelina Cruz) leaves the ball with Stella and asks about her well-being. She then leaves Stella for a while to look for transportation, and Vincent immediately runs toward Stella, offering her a ride. Stella turns him down, even telling Vincent that she had already planned to go home immediately after he asked her to do so.
However, she gets into an argument with one of the guests who attempts to harass her. Vincent tells her she should have avoided such conflicts, and that things would not have led to her clash with Claudia (Sofia Andres). Stella looks at Vincent with disgust on her face and asks, “Sa tingin mo gusto ko ‘yong nangyari sa’kin?”
Vincent expresses his frustration that he was not able to protect Stella from what happened. He also admits that he is having a hard time figuring out how to fix all the mess, and Stella apologizes for it. “Akala ko kasi tinutulungan kita. Pero huwag kang mag-alala, hindi na ulit kita ilalagay sa posisyon na mapapahiya ka.”
Stella declares that she and Vincent should not meet each other anymore so he would not have to stress himself in case another conflict arises. She breaks off their deal, then leaves with Katherine and goes home.
