After forcing her to sign a sworn statement implicating Tanggol (Coco Martin) in the crimes he didn’t commit in exchange for the lives of her grandma and stepsister, Rigor (John Estrada) then brought Ponggay (Maris Racal) to the office of the Guerreros at the city hall.
There, the Guerreros forced her to read the script that Roberto (Albert Martinez) had prepared for her during the media conference that they’d organized in their attempt to malign Tanggol (Coco Martin). But being the morally upright police officer and individual that she is, Ponggay couldn’t bring herself to lie and betray Tanggol. Thus, even though her life and the lives of Lola Flory (Perla Bautista) and Dimples (Criza Taa) were all in danger, Ponggay still chose to do what was right and just by announcing instead that the Guerreros had indeed forced her to slander Tanggol.
Completely shocked by what Ponggay just did, the media people quickly mobbed her to obtain further statements from her while she was being escorted out of the conference hall. Miguelito, meanwhile, immediately grabbed the mic and furiously insisted that Ponggay was just lying before throwing the mic on the floor.
Ponggay was brought to the office of the Guerreros, where Jackie, Miguelito, and Roberto assaulted her. Instead of fear, she displayed bravery and power as she tried to retaliate on and even escape from them. Miguelito urged Roberto to kill her, but Jackie objected because the people knew that Ponggay is currently under their custody. Thus, they will surely be held responsible once they do something bad on her.
While the three were arguing, Ponggay found an opportunity to get away from their security aides and run. Unfortunately, although she was agile, Miguelito and his henchmen were still able to keep up with her and bring her to the top floor of the Manila City Hall. There, the wicked fake mayor continued to beat her up and threatened to throw her out the window.
However, seeing the throngs of protesters led by Tanggol marching towards the city hall made Miguelito stop from his evil plans against Ponggay, which she took as an opportunity to attack him and escape from his first grip. But Miguelito didn’t let her simply get away from them as she punched her in the gut again.
As Ponggay told her that the people were already holding them accountable, this obviously triggered the already frustrated Miguelito, who went livid as he strongly insisted that Manila and its people are owned by the Guerreros. He then ordered his henchmen to lock Ponggay up, as he geared up for his family’s looming battle against Tanggol anew.
